How to Change Text Size in Browsers
Most web browsers have a built-in functionality to increase or decrease the magnification of a web page.
To Adjust Magnification for Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome (for PC Users)
Keyboard Only
- Press the “Ctrl” and “+” (plus) keys to zoom in. This will also increase the text size.
- Press the “Ctrl” and “-” (minus) keys to zoom out. This will also decrease the text size.
- To return the browser screen to the default/original size, press “Ctrl” and “0” (zero).
Mouse (with wheel) Only
- Hold the “Ctrl” key and move the scroll-wheel on the mouse forward to zoom in.
- Hold the “Ctrl” key and move the scroll-wheel on the mouse back to zoom out.
To Adjust Magnification for Mac Users
- Press the Apple (Command) and “+” (plus) keys to zoom in. This will also increase the text size.
- Press the Apple (Command) and “-” (minus) keys to zoom out. This will also decrease the text size.
- To return the browser screen to the default/original size, press “Command” and “0” (zero).
