Automation Test Developer (Job 318)
Four month contract (May to August 2013)

The OUAC is seeking to fill a position in its Project Management Office (PMO). The incumbent will join a team involved in project and operational work at the OUAC.
The successful candidate must possess an understanding of quality assurance work and be able to develop automated testing scripts. The successful candidate must also be able to effectively work with lead Quality Assurance Coordinators, meet and ensure quality project deliverables in accordance with organizational deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automation test frameworks
- Build and increase automation test coverage
- Provide support to analyze, debug and report software defects found by automation
- Promote utilization of automation tools in Quality Assurance
- Design and implement test procedures in collaboration with other test members
Qualifications Sought:
- At least two years of post-secondary education at either university or college
- Experience/understanding in scripting (knowledge of PHP preferred)
- Experience/understanding in using test automation tools e.g. Selenium, and QTP
- Experience/understanding in software Quality Assurance working in testing software in a software development environment
Abilities/Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
