Essential Skills and Attributes Required for the Study of Rehabilitation Sciences

The Ontario Council of University Programs in Rehabilitation Sciences (OCUPRS) has approved guidelines regarding the skills and attributes required for the study of audiology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech language pathology. These guidelines apply to students registered in, or applying to, these respective programs in any of the four Ontario universities with rehabilitation sciences programs. The guidelines describe the skills and attributes required for success in completing the programs and entering professional practice for all students, including students with disabilities. Applicants are strongly encouraged to visit www.ouac.on.ca/orpas/ for a complete review of these guidelines.
