Undergraduate study is the first level of academic work available at a university and leads to a
bachelor's degree. Normally (but not always), undergraduate applicants do not already hold a university degree. Admission to undergraduate study usually requires completion of secondary school qualifications or higher.
Depending on your academic background and where you live, there are
different types of undergraduate application procedures at the OUAC:
 |
|
Current Year Ontario Secondary School Students (OUAC 101)
You are currently registered in an Ontario secondary school day program.
You will complete the 101 application if you meet the
following requirements:
- You are taking courses during the day at an Ontario Secondary School (this includes students returning for second semester and graduated students returning to upgrade one or more courses)
- You will have received or expect to receive your OSSD with six 4U or 4M courses at the end of the current year
- You do not have one year or more of postsecondary education
- You are applying to a diploma program or a first-year degree program at an Ontario university
|
All other undergraduate applicants (OUAC 105)
You are not currently registered in an Ontario secondary school day program.
You will complete the 105 application if you are:
- A Canadian citizen, international applicant; or
- A permanent resident of Canada or you are currently studying in Canada on a study permit or other visa
- Transferring from a postsecondary institution
- Taking courses at night school, by correspondence, or other distance education modes of study
- Attending secondary school during the day, but will have fewer than six 4U or 4M courses
|
| If you do not meet all of the above criteria, please see your guidance counsellor for assistance. |
Do not complete this application if you are applying to the one-year consecutive BEd program. |

The OUAC provides application services for entry to various undergraduate programs offered at
Ontario's universities.
These services were developed to facilitate the process of applying to the Ontario universities. They reduce duplication in application processing, and save time and resources for applicants and the universities.
