How to Log In to your 105 Application for the First Time (Transcript – Text Only)

Hello. Welcome to the “Ontario Universities’ Application Centre”, or OUAC, website: www.ouac.on.ca. This video tutorial will show you how to apply to an Ontario university using the Undergraduate 105 application. To begin, select the box entitled “Undergrad (105)” for Canadian residents or international applicants not currently attending an Ontario high school.

If you aren’t sure that you’re using the right application, you can answer a few short questions in a questionnaire, or you can review the 105 criteria. Canadian residents not currently attending an Ontario high school should fill out the 105 Domestic (105D) application. International applicants can use the 105 International (105F) application.

Review the Application Guide and the side menus. Both contain helpful options and instructions to guide you through the application process. Once satisfied that this is the appropriate application, click “Apply Now”. Note: The steps in this video are the same for both 105 applications. For this video we will use the 105D application.

If this is your first time applying to an Ontario university, will need to create your OUAC Account. Select the link “Create My OUAC Account”.

To create your OUAC Account, fill in your personal information: Name, Date of Birth and Email Address. Make sure you have a valid email address. Email is the primary method of communication for the universities and for the OUAC.

Once you have created your OUAC Account, we will send you an email to verify your email address. You will not be able to submit your application until you verify your email address, so check your inbox when you’re done creating your account. Go to “My OUAC Account” in your application and click “Re-send Verification Email” if you do not receive an email.

Next, create a username that is personal and easy for you to remember. You can log in to all OUAC applications with this username. Create a password that is between 7 and 30 characters. Your password must include an upper case character, a number and a symbol.

When that’s done, review the Terms and Conditions and then select “Create My OUAC Account”.

Read the Welcome page carefully as it contains helpful hints to get you started and 105-specific Terms and Conditions. After you have reviewed this page, click “Continue”.

Congratulations! You have successfully logged in to your Undergrad 105 application. You can update your username or password at any time by going to “My OUAC Account” on the left-side menu. This is also where you go to change your email address or re-send your verification email.

Thank you for watching. To continue with your application process you can watch the undergrad video tutorial to learn how to browse and add programs to your 105 online application.
