My postsecondary institution cannot produce a hard-copy transcript at this time. What should I do?

The process for transcripts from Ontario universities/colleges does not change. You must request your transcript using the Transcript Request feature in your application. Your transcript will be sent electronically.

Due to COVID-19, many non-Ontario or international institutions cannot produce a hard-copy transcript to mail to us. Therefore, we accept PDFs via email, as long as they are emailed to us directly from the registrar’s office.

Most registrar’s offices are aware of the process for emailing transcripts to us, so check with them directly.

Transcripts should be password protected and there should not be any expiry dates, as this could cause difficulty for the universities. In addition, do not send duplicate emails, as this could slow down the processing of your transcript.
