About Huron at Western University
Huron at Western is completely unique among postsecondary institutions in Canada – creating educational experiences unlike any other that prioritize ethical leadership and community engagement as much as the pursuit of academic achievement.
We offer undergraduate programs in the Faculty of Arts and Social Science and the Faculty of Theology. In the spirit of providing a prestigious, character-based education, we are furthering our integration of character-building and civic responsibility into programs that offer the traditional advantages of the Liberal Arts to develop the next generation of Leaders with Heart.
Huron is the founding institution of Western University. For more than 155 years, we have delivered an elite, yet accessible, university experience that continues to build upon a network of world-renowned alumni who revolutionize the sectors they work within. This long-standing affiliation with Western University gives Huron students full access to Western’s facilities, clubs and athletics programs. Earn a Western degree with a Huron distinction, while benefitting from the one-on-one mentorship and integrated, personalized learning experiences only Huron’s large faculty-to-student ratio and small class sizes can provide.
We encourage you to take advantage of highly personalized scholarship, internship and research opportunities, which are rare across the Canadian undergraduate landscape, and consider developing your leadership capacity within our safe, inclusive and challenging campus.
