Ontario University Graduates Get Jobs, Earn More Money

Students who complete undergraduate programs at Ontario universities continue to experience high employment and earnings rates, according to the latest employment survey commissioned by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development and carried out by an independent firm, CCI Research Inc.
Almost 88% of graduates had jobs 6 months after graduation with an average salary of $41,839.
2 years after graduation, almost 94% of graduates were employed. Their average salary was $49,170.
The survey also finds that graduates get jobs in their field of study. 2 years after leaving university, 89% of employed graduates considered their work related to the skills developed at university. Almost 78% said their work was related to their program of study.
