Overview

This page is a summary of the joint programs that Ontario universities will offer in collaboration with Ontario colleges for the 2026 cycle.

Each institution defines its own procedures for applying to these programs.

The university sections on this page indicate available programs and where to send your application: Either to the OUAC or to OCAS.

Some programs are not open to international applicants. Contact the university for information.


Program Information

Algoma University

Algoma University has a significant number of articulation agreements with Ontario colleges.

If you have a diploma from an Ontario college and are applying for a degree in a related discipline at Algoma, you may receive up to 2 years of transfer credit toward your degree.

Brock University

Brock University has over 80 articulation and collaborative agreements with Ontario colleges. The ease of navigating the pathways makes these agreements a popular choice.

Carleton University

Lakehead University offers a diverse range of diploma-to-degree pathways with Ontario colleges, as well as post-diploma engineering programs in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics and Software Engineering.

Accredited by the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing, Trent’s nursing programs place an emphasis on experiential learning and a holistic approach to health care.

 Option in Geographical Information SystemsApply through the OUAC to Archaeology, Environmental and Resource Studies, or Geography.

 

As an Archaeology, Geography or Environmental and Resource Science student, you can pursue an option in GIS, the field that connects geography to data. This option will allow you to visualize, question, analyze and interpret data to understand relationships, patterns and trends.

University of Waterloo

The University of Waterloo offers transfer pathways to students who have completed college and university studies.

Western University

Western University has many articulation agreements and transfer pathways with Ontario colleges and other postsecondary institutions.

Western University and Fanshawe College

This is a 4-year collaborative program offered by King’s and Fanshawe. Successful graduates of the program will receive a Bachelor of Arts – Finance (3-year) degree from Western University and a Business – Finance (2-year) diploma from Fanshawe College.

Wilfrid Laurier University

Wilfrid Laurier University offers diverse degree pathways for Ontario college graduates through various agreements, including articulation, multilateral and block transfer options with numerous colleges.

If your program of interest at Laurier does not appear, this may mean there are no established pathways for this program yet.

You may still apply to transfer in and have your postsecondary experience evaluated by the Laurier Admissions team  to establish eligibility for transfer credit at Laurier.

University of Windsor

The University of Windsor offers many undergraduate degree pathways for students with prior postsecondary education, particularly in alignment with Ontario college partners.
