English Program Codes
OE1 – Primary/Junior
OE2 – Junior/Intermediate
OE3 – Intermediate/Senior (Some teaching subjects cannot be combined. Make sure you visit the Faculty of Education website for more details)
OE6 – Primary/Junior (French as a Second Language)
Instructions for Teacher Education (Anglophone Sector)
Before applying, you must read all of the information about the Teacher Education program provided on the University of Ottawa’s website.
Once we receive your application from the OUAC, we will send you an acknowledgement email that includes a user ID and password to a uOzone account, where you will access the “Statement of Experience”, which you must complete and submit online. If you have chosen French as a Second Language as a teaching option, you will also be able to register and pay for the French proficiency test in this account.
You are responsible for obtaining these documents on the University of Ottawa’s website.
Mid-page, you will find the “Prospective students” section. Click “Documents to submit” and then “Additional Information” to view which documents might be required.
