When You Should Expect University Communication
- The universities will acknowledge that they received your application and provide you with a list of the specific supporting documents they require to make an admission decision.
- If you do not receive any communication from your selected universities after 2 to 3 weeks, contact them directly. Include your OUAC Reference Number in all communication with the universities and on all supporting documents sent to the universities.
Gather Information
- Watch the how-to video on how to edit your application.
- Review the Key Dates.
- Have your OUAC Reference Number handy whenever you contact the OUAC or your university choices.
Make Edits to Your Application or Respond to an Offer
- Log in to your application to:
- edit your information.
- order transcripts and review the status of transcripts you previously requested as part of your application.
- add and withdraw program choices.
- respond to offers of admission.
- Note: The later you change your program choices, the more likely it is that a program is closed and no longer accepting new applicants.
- You will receive a confirmation number by email when you successfully submit your application changes and/or respond to an offer of admission.
When to Expect an Offer
- If you are a Group A applicant, you can expect to receive either an offer of admission or a refusal from the universities you applied to by the end of May. The earliest date you may be required to respond to an offer is June 2, 2025.
- If you are a Group B applicant, you must respond to offers of admission by the deadline the university included in the offer details. Refer to the university information pages for more information.
Reminders:
- Go to Review and Payment to review your updates, pay (if applicable) and submit your updates to the universities.
- You do not need to pay a fee to accept a university offer, but other updates (like adding a program choice) may require you to pay a fee.
- Do not send university deposits or tuition fees to the OUAC.
Learn About Campus Life
- Visit your selected universities and/or the universities’ websites. University open houses, campus visits and virtual tours are great ways to experience what campus life is like and can help you decide which university is the best fit for you.
