Admission Requirements
All non-Ontario high school students must submit a non-refundable document evaluation fee of $70 to the OUAC when they apply to Trent.

English-language Requirements
We are an English-language university, and it is important to your success at Trent that you are proficient in both spoken and written English.
All students must demonstrate a command of English sufficient to meet the demands of classroom instruction, written assignments and participation in tutorials and discussions.
If you do not meet our English-language requirements, you may be eligible for our English as a Second Language program.
Extenuating Circumstances
If you have experienced extenuating circumstances that affected your academic performance, you may submit a Students with Extenuating Circumstances form.
If you are applying under the Mature Student category, you should submit a Supplementary Application for Mature Students form.

Offers of Admission
Admission Decisions
All our admission decisions are posted on the OUAC Application and myTrent portal account. You can check your myTrent portal account to view your application status updates at any time.
Transfer Credit Assessment
The Admissions Office will evaluate applications for transfer credits during the admission assessment and will assign credits at that time.
We may request course syllabi for any course we have not previously evaluated for equivalencies. We will guide international applicants through the process of obtaining transfer credits after they receive an offer of admission.
