OUAC Social Media Terms of Use

Last updated: February 2, 2023

The official social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok) for the Ontario Universities’ Recruitment Events (Recruitment) and the Ontario Universities’ Fairs (OUFs) are maintained by the OUAC Communications and Events Department on behalf of the OUF Steering Committee and Ontario’s universities.

The Recruitment and OUF accounts are included within “OUAC social media”.

The OUAC social media pages are meant to disseminate important information in a timely manner. On our pages, as at the OUAC, we welcome all questions and commentary, including constructive feedback; however, please respect other people’s views, beliefs and emotions, and try to keep conversations relevant.

We will not respond to comments or questions on our social media accounts. Direct any questions about the OUF to ouf@ouac.on.ca.

Opinions expressed by other social media users do not necessarily reflect the OUAC’s or the OUF’s opinions. While the majority of user comments will contribute to an active and engaging community, some may not. Therefore, we reserve the right, at our discretion, to remove and/or edit content on our pages that we deem inappropriate or off topic.

If you have additional questions or comments regarding the OUAC social media accounts, email us.
