I have asked more than 3 referees to write an assessment for me. If all of the referees send their assessments, which assessments will be used toward my application? Can I pick which references I want sent to the law schools?

Only the ones you have indicated as R1, R2 and R3 will be distributed. If OLSAS receives more than 3 references or additional letters of reference, the additional documents will not be forwarded to the law schools.

I have forgotten my login information. What can I do?

If you have misplaced/forgotten your username, select “Recover your username” on the Log In page. You will be prompted to enter your date of birth and email address. Your username will then be emailed to you.

If I submit on the deadline date and order a transcript from an Ontario institution online, will my transcript be considered on time?

Yes, receipt of an online transcript request (that forms part of the application) by the stated deadline satisfies the transcript deadline requirement.

My institution uses Digitary to send transcripts electronically. Are these considered official?

Yes, the OUAC is working with Digitary to accept and process official electronic transcripts. My postsecondary institution cannot produce a hard-copy transcript at this time. What should I do?

For transcripts from Ontario universities/colleges, the process has not changed. You must request your transcript using the Transcript Request feature in your application. Your transcript will be sent electronically. Due to COVID-19, many non-Ontario or international institutions cannot produce a hard-copy transcript to be mailed to us.
