If I accept an offer from one university, do I remain on the wait lists for my other choices?

No, if you accept an offer, you will be removed from all wait lists.

If I am using my Advanced Placement (AP) classes as prerequisites for medical school, how do I send my AP transcript to OMSAS?

If your AP transcript contains grades for prerequisite courses, you will have to mail or fax your request to the AP College Board. The College Board will then mail your transcript to OMSAS. Note: OMSAS is unable to receive the electronic AP transcripts and does not have a 4-digit institution code.

If I submit on the deadline date and order a transcript from an Ontario institution online, will my transcript be considered on time?

Yes, receipt of an online transcript request (that forms part of the application) by the stated deadline satisfies the transcript deadline requirement.

My institution uses Digitary to send transcripts electronically. Are these considered official?

Yes, the OUAC is working with Digitary to accept and process official electronic transcripts. If your institution is from outside of Ontario and elects to send their transcripts electronically through this platform, you will need to complete the appropriate request through your institution and/or the Digitary system. For transcripts from Ontario universities/colleges, the process has not changed. You must request your transcript using the Transcript Request feature in your application. Your transcript will be sent electronically. Due to COVID-19, many non-Ontario or international institutions cannot produce a hard-copy transcript to be mailed to us.
